Architect and Sustainable Design Expert

Alain Joseph is a seasoned architect and environmental design consultant whose career spans over four decades of innovation in architecture, sustainable infrastructure, and renewable energy integration. Born in 1955, he earned his Diplôme d’Architecte D.P.L.G. from the École Nationale Supérieure des Beaux-Arts (ENSBA), Paris in 1982—one of the world’s most prestigious institutions for architecture and fine arts.

Alain began his professional journey in Paris, where he worked from 1978 to 1983 on diverse architectural and urban design projects. His time in France refined his design sensibility and technical expertise, laying the foundation for a career dedicated to creating functional, environmentally responsible spaces.

Since 1984, Alain has operated from Beirut, where he has led numerous architectural and environmental projects across Lebanon and the region. His work reflects a deep commitment to sustainable development and community-oriented design. Notably, he has overseen the design of a regional waste management facility, the planning of forest trail networks, and the development of large-scale exhibition and trade fair infrastructures—projects that combine aesthetics, efficiency, and environmental stewardship.

In addition to his architectural practice, Alain has extensive experience in organizing international trade fairs and exhibitions, coordinating the design, logistics, and spatial planning of complex venues that bring together innovation, culture, and commerce.

In recent years, Alain has expanded his expertise into the renewable energy sector, becoming a recognized specialist in the installation and integration of solar panel systems for both industrial and residential applications. His work bridges architecture, engineering, and sustainability—demonstrating how clean energy can be seamlessly incorporated into modern design.

Alain’s multidisciplinary background, rooted in architectural excellence and driven by environmental responsibility, makes him a key contributor to EcoVert’s mission of advancing sustainable design and ecological innovation in Lebanon.
