Ayoub has also been elected in charge of environmental policies and projects in the Kesserwan – Ftouh mayorships union encompassing more than 50 municipalities. By regularly consulting with the Ministry of Environment, he ensures all initiatives are completed with nature at heart and compliance in mind.
Beyond his administrative duties, Ayoub is deeply passionate about environmental education and the protection of Lebanon’s natural heritage. He actively promotes forest conservation and biodiversity awareness and is known for his vast knowledge of native plants, trees, and their ecological and medicinal uses. His commitment to sustainability extends beyond policy—it is a personal mission rooted in respect for nature and community well-being.
When not serving his municipality, Ayoub enjoys walking, exploring Lebanon’s diverse landscapes, and inspiring others to take part in preserving the environment for future generations.
